בחיים שלך אל תעיזי להרים יד על ההורים שלך, זו עבירה שהתיקון שלה קשה מאוד, אל תעיזי לעשות זאת גם אם היא תאיים עליך ותזרוק עליך כיסאות, אל תגיעי למצב שאת מרימה על אמא שלך ידיים, דעי לך אחות יקרה למרות הניסיונות הקשים יש דברים שפשוט אסור לעשות ! חוק בל יעבור ! כתוב בתורה: "וּמַכֵּה אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ מוֹת יוּמָת... וּמְקַלֵּל אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ מוֹת יוּמָת". עונשו של המקלל חמור יותר מעונשו של המכה, שהקללה מצויה יותר ויש צורך להזהיר עליה יותר, שהרי ידוע שמקלל אביו ואמו עונשו "סקילה" (זורקים עליו אבנים עד שמת) ועונשו של מכה אביו ואמו בחנק. "אביו ואמו קלל דמיו בו" לא רק שאסור לקלל את אבא, אפילו לומר את השם שלו בפניו אסור, יש אנשים שמעולם לא קראו להורים שלהם בשמם הפרטי, שלא לדבר על קללה או הכאה. מי שמקללאת אביו ואמו הוא בבחינת מנודה בשמיים ואין הקב"ה יכול לדור עמו.
שהרי בזמן שאדם מקלל אביו ואמו ומכה אותם, זה כאילו הקבה כופף את רגליו תחת
כסא הכבוד ואומר : אני השויתי כבודי לכבוד אב ואם ואילו הייתי אצל בן כזה כך היה עושה לי! לסיכום: כאשר אדם לא מסתדר עם אבא ואמא ומבזה אותם אומר ה' יתברך "טוב עשיתי שלא השרתי שכינתי בבית זה" אבל כאשר אדם מכבד את אביו ואמו ה' ישר משרה שכינתו בבית זה.
